MANN, Regional Engineer Phone: (801) 538-7400 The Salt Lake Valley is split into two areas with with the Jordan River being the dividing line between area 57 is on the east side of the valley and Area 59 is on the west. The Salt Lake Valley Management plan further divided the valley into three districts identified as East, Central, West and North. Water rights cannot be moved across the Jordan River nor can it be moved into the West area from the other Salt Lake Valley areas. Utah Valley has 4 Areas: 51 is the Spanish Fork River Drainage, Area 53 is the Mona Elberta area, Area 54 is Cedar Valley and Saratoga and Area 55 is the Provo River drainage from Francis to Lehi.
